Prior to entering the private sector business community, Joseph Medina was a U.S. Marine Corps General Officer who served as the Commander of Expeditionary Strike Group THREE and Commander Task Force 58 during a combat deployment, Commander of the Marine Corps’ most complex installation comprising eight separate bases and two air stations in Asia, and Commanding General of 3^rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade/Deputy CG of III Marine Expeditionary Force headquartered in Okinawa, Japan. These assignments culminated many years of service in the United States Marine Corps with national recognition of his abilities as a leader.  Since leaving active service, Medina switched his focus to corporate leadership with a specific emphasis on leveraging the lessons he learned as a military leader in civilian environments. He served over ten years in senior corporate positions and on multiple boards of international companies.  In 2020 he established the Inner Voyage Leadership Group to assist aspiring and established leaders in developing world class ethical leadership skills.
